I hope you’re enjoying some Nina retrospectives, I’ve been otherwise occupied and thus unable, or at least disinclined, to write here of late.
Do not fear, I have not forgotten my friends. As you can imagine, my recent move from girlfriend to fiance has caused some changes to occur in my life.
So, here’s a little catch-up, a kind of what’s been happening…
- Ayana asked me to ‘in spirit at least, if not legally’ marry her. I accepted.
- Anca (my sister) turned down a hasty but ill-considered, heat of the moment, marriage proposal from her boyfriend Alex. They are still dating.
- Anca has been accepted to a Scandinavian art school (I’d prefer to keep the name and location private) and she’ll begin in September (most likely)
- Fawn is still performing as a maid in our home but she is now dating Sorin, a friend of Peter, who treats her very kindly
- Mistress’ estate is still not settled and probably won’t be until at least the end of the year. It’s complex.
- Ayana and I have an open relationship and plan to continue as such except when we’re in town at the same time. Then we’ll spend out time together
- Ayana travels for business virtually every week so we have only one or two days together, generally, each week. We make the most of it, hence my intermittent absences
- I have a nice little affair going with Magdalena, an older woman I see from time to time
- I am studying at a business college, it’s going well and it’s fun
- Anca has a few ‘parties’ planned but she is tailing off. Alex, her bf, it. She does have a girlfriend now though, very very cute.
So, that’s the news in brief from the last week or two. I’ll do my best to write more while Ayana is away, when I have time between study assignments
